Basketball Years 7 & 8

Welcome to Year 7 & 8 Basketball at KingsWay School.

Season Information:

Basketball is offered to both girls and boys in Years 7-8.

• Year 7 & 8 play at the Leisure Centre on a Monday nights between 4pm - 6pm (approx). Competition commences Monday, 17th February 2020.

• Year 7 & 8 top teams will have the option to play in the Harbour Basketball Competition on Monday nights between 4pm – 6pm (approx). Teams will be choosen through trials. Competition commences on Monday, 24th February 2020.

Teams will not be entered unless each team has a coach and a manager.

Registration closes:  9am Monday 3rd  February

Year 8 Monday 3rd February in the gym at lunchtime. 12.45pm - 1.45pm
Year 7 Tuesday 4th February in the gym at lunchtime. 12.45pm - 1.45pm

Coaches and Managers:

If you are able to volunteer your time to coach or manage a team, please inform the Teacher in Charge of the code in which you wish to be involved. This is another great way to get to know your child’s friends and team mates and to positively influence the students.
Please note that we are unable to enter any team that does not have a volunteer coach and manager.
