Umpires and Referees

The better you know the rules of a game the better you can play the game.

The hockey rule book is a good tool to refer to if you keep wondering why the ref always blows the whistle when you touch that ball! Please speak to the TIC of hockey if you would like to review the rule book.

KingsWay is very privileged to have a good pool of netball umpires.

Please remember that umpiring is not limited to the girls only, so we would like to encourage any non-netballers, siblings or parents to learn to umpire. A list of upcoming netball umpiring courses are on the NH Website: http://www.hbcnetball.co.nz
