KingsWay is a Year 1-13 composite, integrated school, roll 1455, decile 9, situated on two campuses in Orewa, Hibiscus Coast. We are a modern, multi-campus, well-resourced school with fantastic, supportive staff. Hard Materials and Design and Visual Communication - Graphics (DVC) Year 10 – 13

KingsWay School has an exciting opportunity for a Hard Materials/DVC teacher to commence at the start of Term 1 2020, who has:

  • The ability to teach Hard Materials/DVC Technology from Y10 to 13
  • Ability to engage effectively with parents, staff and external agencies
  • Strengths in other areas of the curriculum, please state

Engagement with the New Technologies curriculum in terms of:

  • Designing and Developing Materials Outcomes
  • Designing and Developing Processed Outcomes
  • Applying Design thinking to conceptualise and develop design ideas

KingsWay School Support Staff - One Vacancy

Teacher Aide - Learning Support Department

A position exists in our school for a short term Teacher Aide working with a Middle School and a Primary School student who require learning support.

The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students of this age, a sympathetic nature, flexible attitude and a love of working with students are prerequisites. While experience would be an advantage, we are willing to train a suitable applicant.

This is a part-time position starting during Term 3, 2019.
