Dear KingsWay Community
I would like to officially share the news that Craig Utting (Associate Principal) has resigned after sixteen years of service at KingsWay. Craig will be assuming the role of Associate Principal at Middleton Grange in Christchurch next year. I would like to thank Craig for his faithful and outstanding service to KingsWay and the wider cause of Christian education. He has poured his life into the school and many of our traditions have been influenced by the ‘Utting Touch of Excellence’.
There will be an official farewell for Craig at the Senior Prize-giving on the 12 December at 7pm. I would encourage members of the KingsWay alumni and community to attend so we can properly farewell and pay tribute to an outstanding KingsWay legend.
Please be praying for Craig, Oline and their family as they prepare to make the big move south.
Three KingsWay School Young Enterprise teams won awards at the North Auckland Regional YES finals held recently. Kakara Kitchen won the Excellence in Business Management Award, Pins & Patches won the award for Company Spirit and KiwiGames won the Unitec Te Awa award for promoting culture and received a $200 Prezzy Card as a prize. Well done to all those involved.
Congratulations to Taryn Banks who competed in the NZ Surf Lifesaving Pool Championships last weekend. Taryn won a Bronze Medal in the Under 19s Rescue Medley Relay, Bronze Medal in the Under 19s Manikin Relay and Bronze in the Open Mega Relay.
