To make an Application

To make a new application complete both Section A and Section B. If you are wanting to enrol a sibling then complete Section A only.

Enrolment checklist

Completed Application Form both Section A and B

Enclose copy of child's birth certificate

If not born in New Zealand please enclose a copy of their passport showing their residential status - Residential Visa or Residential Permit. Overseas students mus provide a copy of their passport and current Student Visa (or Visitor's Permit if this is applicable)

Include a copy of his/her two latest school reports (not applicable to a new entrant)

Small passport sized photo of your child

Applicants born from 1995 onwards must provide a copy of their Immunisation Certificate signed by their GP

Have Pastors Reference completed or return with 'not applicable' written on it.

You will receive a letter of acknowledgement of your application.

Your application is processed and your child is placed on the waiting list.

Parents will be contacted about an interview when a position becomes available. Both parents and the child applying are expected to come to the interview.

Please make sure you keep us informed of any changes to your contact details.

If your circumstances change and you no longer wish your child to come to KingsWay School, please advise our Enrolment Officer that you wish to withdraw your application for a place at KingsWay School.

FAQ

How long will I have to wait on the waiting list?
The number of applicants on a waiting list varies from year level to year level and is constantly changing with names being added or deleted. It is almost impossible to forecast how long you may have to wait, as it requires a vacancy to arise which is then filled according to our order of preference for consideration.

Do I have to re-apply every year?
No. Once an application has been lodged the child's name remains on our waiting list and the list rolls over from year to year until such time as a vacancy arises for them or you request their name be deleted. It is helpful to supply us with copies of subsequent school reports as you receive them and to keep us informed of any changes to your contact details.

Do we have an Open Day?
Yes we do.

The Open Day for 2013 will be on Tuesday 14 May and two sessions will be available to anyone wanting to learn about and view KingsWay School. There will be a morning session from 9:30am to 12noon. Students will be available to escort visitors around the school and there is a visual presentation in our Events Centre. There will be an evening session from 6:30pm - 8:30pm during which there will be several screenings of our visual presentation and staff available to answer any questions.
