Student Health Centre

KingsWay School has three registered nurses who job share the role of School Nurse: Mrs Natasha Knell, Mrs Anita Wicks and Mrs Fran Irons. Contact the School Nurse either by phoning 09 427 0903 or email healthcentre@kingsway.school.nz

KingsWay School requires all students to have a completed medical form authorising the school to treat your child in case of an accident. To download a medical form please click here.

If your child requires prescription medication to be administered at school then a form is required authorising this. Medication can be left in the Health Centre and given out as authorised during the course of the day. Please note that medication must be in its original package with the pharmacy label attached. If your child has any medical conditions (i.e. asthma, diabetes, allergies etc) it is very important that the School Nurse be notified of all details relating to the special condition and an up to date action plan be kept current for your child.

The Student Health Centre is available for students who have injured themselves at school or who become sick during the course of the day.

Please do not send your child to school if they are unwell. Any child who is sick or has a temperature should be kept home not only for their wellbeing but to prevent the spread of infection.
