Auckland Christian Schools Sport

These events are an opportunity for the Auckland Christian Schools to come together for a day of fun, competitive sporting competition. Each event is organised by a different school on an annual basis.

The events for 2012 are;

ACS Swimming - Tuesday 20 March (Westwave Pools)
ACS Netball & Football - Tuesday 8 May (Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga)
ACS Cross-Country - Tuesday 18 September
ACS Touch Rugby - Tuesday 13 November (Parrs Park, Glen Eden)

ACS Swimming

Date: Tuesday 20 March 2012

Time: Meet in the Event Centre at 8:20am, the bus will depart from the
KingsWay Bus bay at 9:00am and will return before 3:10pm

Venue: Westwave Pools, Henderson

Cost: $15.00

                                  Registrations closes - 12 March 2012.

If your child will not be travelling on the bus please indicate this on the registration.

ACS Netball & Football

Date:                           Tuesday 8 May (Save day Thurs 10 May)
Netball Venue:             Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga Rd
Football Venue:            Keith Hay Park, Arundel Street, Mt Roskill

Time: Depart KingsWay 8.45 am return 3.10pm

Meet:                          Event Centre foyer at 8.20am.
Cost:                           $15
Transport:                  Bus (Please note the $15 charge applies whether on the bus or not)

All students need to be registered online: www.kingsway.school.nz by Friday 27 April

The process involves the following steps:

a) Click on the Sport Registration tab

b) Click on the ACS Sports tab

c) Click on ACS Netball & Football Day

d) Complete this first page, press add to cart, view cart, proceed to checkout
e) Complete all information (read the pop ups, as they guide you)
f) Pay online via credit card or send the cash/cheque in via your child to Miss Taane in the Sports office within 5 days of registration.
g) Your registration is complete only when you press submit and receive an email confirmation of the registration

Uniform:

All students are encouraged to wear a KingsWay tracksuit, if you do not have a tracksuit you must wear school uniform not mufti.

Netball Teams:

All teams - netball uniform.

Senior School – KingsWay Senior 2 & Senior 3
Middle School – KingsWay Intermediate 8-1, 8-2, 7-1 & 7-2

Primary School – KingsWay Legends, Storm & Firebirds.

Football:

All teams – football uniform.

Boys 2^nd XI, Junior Boys, Junior Girls & Primary Year 5 & 6 Boys invited team.

Bring:

Ø Lunch: Light lunch and drink essential. No one will be allowed to buy from the local shops.

Ø Sunscreen: It is important that all students wear sunscreen and/or a hat

Ø Jacket

Ø Cancellations will be published on the KingsWay School website by 7.30am, however, if

unsure students are to arrive at school in their uniform as per normal school day

accompanied by their sporting gear.

ACS Touch Rugby

Date: Tuesday 13 November 2012 (Save day Thurs 15 November)

Venue: Parrs Park, West Coast Road, Glen Eden

Time: Depart KingsWay 8.45 am return by 3.10pm

Meet: Outside the Wharenui (Old Library) at 8.20am.

Cost: $10

Transport: Bus

All students need to be registered online by Friday 2 November.

All students are to wear a KingsWay School PE gear.

Bring:
