At KingsWay School our students enjoy a wide range of sporting opportunities throughout the age groups such as Football, Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Basketball,Tennis, and Touch Rugby to name a few, and the passion and enthusiasm with which the students take part is quite infectious and such a delight to see. Sport provides a wonderful opportunity for students to share their faith in Jesus with other teams on and off the field and display their Christian Character through their sportsmanship and commitment to fair play. Lasting friendships are often made in the sporting arena.
We have the privilege of having a number of highly skilled athletes representing at Local, Regional and National level in various sports. These athletes add another dimension entirely to their teams with their leadership and skill.
In 2012 we anticipate having over 60 sports teams with almost 500 students from Year 1 – 13 taking part.
