Associate Principal - Teaching and Learning Support [AP-T&LS]

0.8 Leadership, 0.2 curriculum classroom teaching. A special opportunity exists to join the senior leadership team at KingsWay School. We are seeking a skilled and experienced educational leader who demonstrates a strong Christian worldview. This position commences Term 1, 2018. A willingness and ability to contribute to the Christian Character of the school which pervades all aspects of school life are conditions of employment.

Property Coordinator - KingsWay School

The Property Co-ordinator will have oversight of property staff across both the Senior and Junior Campuses, ensuring grounds and buildings are maintained to a high standard. Developing and maintaining relationships with all staff, suppliers and contractors is an essential part of this role. Adhering to Health and Safety requirements, including security and emergencies is included in to this role. A flexible and helpful attitude together with practical ability to provide ‘hands on’ maintenance tasks is required.

This is a fulltime position for 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum, commencing 1 January 2018.

Duties will include:
Co-ordinating property staff across our school campuses
Ensuring the grounds and buildings are maintained to an excellent standard
Providing for effective health, safety and security across all campuses
Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors across all campuses

The right person will have the following key attributes and characteristics:

  • Highly motivated and demonstrate initiative and organisational ability
  • The ability to respond in a flexible manner to the changing needs of the school day
  • The ability to work well in a team and encourage positive teamwork
  • The ability to relate well to teachers, students, parents, other KingsWay School property staff and trades people.

Receptionist - Senior Campus KingsWay School

You will be the first person visitors meet when arriving at our school and that is important to us. We seek an exceptional receptionist who thrives in a busy environment, communicating with a wide range of people, including students, parents, staff within the school and visitors from outside organisations.

It is essential you possess a professional, welcoming and flexible manner, with competent IT skills.

The following are prerequisites for a receptionist who will:

  • welcome students and visitors with courtesy and respect, providing outstanding assistance
  • answer incoming telephone calls professionally, promptly and politely
  • high energy levels, this is a busy and varied position
  • have experience in reception and office administration
  • possess a range of competent IT skills which include using the student database, KAMAR (preferable but not essential, training provided)
  • be willing to provide back-up first aid in the Health Centre on occasion
  • have excellent English language skills, both verbal and written

This is a permanent, part time position for 30.75 hours per week (8:30am to 3:15pm), during school term time only, or 40 weeks p.a. and has become available due to internal staff alterations. The successful applicant should be prepared to start work on Monday, 22nd January 2018.
